The Tio Reversible Floor Heating and Cooling System provides a simple and cost-effective solution for systems where a heat source can supply both warm and cool water. In heating mode, the system operates in the same way as a standard underfloor heating setup, using a basic distribution manifold to circulate warm water when the room temperature falls below the set point.
In cooling mode, the system switches operation via the manifold wiring centre, allowing cool water to circulate through the floor loops when room temperatures rise above the desired level. A built-in dew point sensor prevents operation if condensation risk is detected, protecting flooring materials and building fabric during periods of high humidity.
The system is designed for use with basic distribution manifolds only and requires suitable supply temperatures, typically 35°C–45°C for heating and 15°C–20°C for cooling, supplied above dew point.
